Tair M42 lenses
Tair is the name of a series of prime lenses which were manufactured by KMZ in the Soviet Union. Only two lenses were manufactured:
The Tair 11 which is a 135mm F2.8
Tair 3 which is a 300mm F4.5
Tair 300mm F4.5

What a great telephoto lens! The Russians are renowned for their optics, and this lens offers great value for money. This lens is sharp wide open with very little Chroma here. Tack sharp from F5.6 upwards. This is a huge lens, all metal and built like a tank! Aperture setting is quite an exercise, with great mechanical clinks and clanks!!
These lenses are rather rare now, and virtually unavailable on the open market. We were fortunate to get one with our Russian PhotoSniper Zenit outfit.
