No introduction neccessary here. Sigma Corporation was founded in 1961, and they have been involved ever since with the manufacturing of cameras and lenses, of which the lens section is the main line of their business

We obtained this rare lens with a package deal on a vintage Pentax Spotmatic camera. One of my best looked after lenses. Although it dates back to the 70's, it is in absolute mint condition and looks brand new.
We are quite impressed with this lens, resolving great detail. It is quite sharp, even wide open and exhibits no chromatic aberration.
Sigma M42 lenses are very rare.

Well, it could not get any better. I obtained this lens BRAND NEW, still in it's mint box and sealed with warranty papers and lens case!
Very well built and sturdy. It is sharp wide open with very good colour reproduction.
A definite keeper.
